eHealth Queensland has awarded Dell Technologies a contract to provide equipment to refresh the state Department of Health’s technology fleet.
Under the agreement, Dell will provide PCs, tablets, notebooks, workstations, all-in-ones, rugged devices and monitors for the state’s 16 hospital and health services as well as those working in the Department of Health.
The contract is one of the largest commercial client deals secured by Dell Technologies in Australia to date. The company confirmed the deal in a competitive tender process.
Dell has also provided a dedicated device build facility in Australia for asset tagging. Offering assurance that custom configurations could match eHealth’s security requirements, the company has already deployed devices that have supported Queensland Health’s COVID-19 vaccination drive.
