Abu Dhabi to Launch Cyber Eye to Strengthen Cybersecurity

Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), with Etisalat and Trend Micro, has announced the launch of Cyber Eye, an initiative to strengthen the government agency's cybersecurity capabilities. This initiative is central to the Abu Dhabi government's cybersecurity strategy.

Cyber Eye will use first-of-its-kind technology and systems to identify any cyber threat in real-time and take effective action to reduce risks and increase protection, further strengthening the government's digital assets.

Cyber Eyes initiative will take advantage of intelligence-driven methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the government in cybersecurity. It will also address the issue of infrastructure visibility and promote methods to enhance control and capabilities to optimize adaptability across government entities.

Director-General of ADDA, Dr. Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, said that the agency is keen to strengthen collaboration ties between the public and private sector and work with partners like Etisalat and Trend Micro as these collaborations are vital in providing basic technical knowledge and the necessary expertise to enhance cybersecurity in Abu Dhabi.
