Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, in partnership with the Department of Government Support, launched Investor Journey to help with the needs of prospective and existing businesses in the emirates. It will help investors reduce costs and facilitate new business setup.
Investor Journey offers a fully digitalized experience and guides investors through a range of services with limited physical touchpoints. The approval and transaction procedures of the government entities have been unified as well.
The program offers an innovative stimulator that allows investors and business owners to seek instructions and clarity. It includes License Finder to help search and identify suitable legal forms and license types followed by an easy application process for obtaining trade names and licenses.
Investor Journey also includes Property Finder, an interactive map that helps investors identify locations for their business. Investors can also obtain digital contracts, facilitate bank account application and view Certificates of Conformity (CoC) by Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority.
