The Telecommunication and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of UAE announced that the national online portal had a 50 percent increase with 5.2 million recorded visitors in the third quarter of 2021 in comparison to the visitors in the same period last year.
The number of visits to the portal reached 7.7 million and the page views reached 11.3 million. TDRA also stated that the portal's performance in search engines has significantly improved. The most visited pages included pages on visas, Emirates ID, traveling to UAE and COVID-19 vaccination and tests. The government portal gives people access to legal information, tourist information. It also provides easy access to information regarding government projects, policies, and services.
TDRA stated that the increase in the site metrics reflects the trust of the people and the effort put in by the portal team. The team has arranged the information in sectors that allow users to directly view the required information. They also regularly update the portal with information released by official sources. The portal management team focuses on getting feedback from the users and improving the portal to be more user friendly.
