Lithuania will be leading the coalition of six EU countries – which also includes Croatia, Poland, Estonia, Romania and the Netherlands – in order “to help Ukrainian institutions to cope with growing cyber-threats.”
Disaster management, roads administration and water agency's websites were affected, along with the Defence Ministry and the National Institute for Land Transportation.
The digital identity legislation expands the scheme to the private sector and state and territory governments, as well as legislating privacy and consumer protections and establishing permanent governance arrangements and a regulatory regime.
