Lack of broadband access disproportionately impacts individuals and families of colour and those whose incomes are below the federal poverty threshold.
The projects announced yesterday are receiving over $6.9 million in Government of Canada funding to bring high-speed Internet to more than 3,455 households in 20 communities.
