The Digital Identity Working Group (DIWG), made up of digital identity specialists from eight Digital Government Exchange (DGX) member states across the world, has identified 11 core principles to support international collaboration on the development of mutually recognised and interoperable digital identity systems and infrastructure.

The Estonian government is in the process of rolling out a new artificial intelligence-guided platform, called Bürokratt, and all of the code associated with the platform for free to the public. The government has spent about €1.5 million on Bürokratt to date, and over the next four years, the total budget will be close to €13 million.

The program supports the Kyrgyz government in promoting transparency and accountability through e-government and is implemented as part of a unique format of equitable cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and a consortium of EU member states - Estonia, Finland and Italy. The goal is to build the capacity of national authorities to manage and guide the development of e-government and to improve government transparency and accountability.
